I was born and raised in Western New York by a Japanese mother and an American father. In addition to frequent trips to Canada, I have traveled to France, Italy, Switzerland, Hong Kong, Guam, and Japan, as well as many states in the U.S. For several years I lived in Chicago and then Sapporo before finding my way back to my hometown.

This blog is a collection of poems, essays, and short posts I’ve written over the years. I hope to keep adding to the collection for many years to come.
